For the past year and a half I’ve been writing a column for the Columbus Alive newspaper. A number of those entries talk about Columbus, but the issues are universal, so the audience for them is pretty national. I wanted to present some of the ones that I think speak to this somehow new and old at the same time #BlackLivesMatter moment, directly or indirectly.
People always ask me what they should read about racism or its effects. This isn’t a bad place to start.

Hi Scott.
Thanks for this. Indeed I have been reading much new (to me) material over the last few days following suggestions from a number of people. Sadly, being in Europe, I am denied access to the newspaper’s website so I can’t read these articles. Is there an alternative way to access them do you know?
All the best Annie

How about Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals.
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon every day. It’s always interesting to read content from other authors and practice a little something from other websites.
